As business evolves, conscious business practices are no longer a “nice to have” but now table stakes for key challenges like employee retention, DEI, and other mission-critical people initiatives. Research has shown that companies who use conscious business practices such as higher purpose, conscious leadership and culture, stakeholder orientation, and other practices have greater business returns when compared with those using a traditional business approach from the last century. This has significant impact for the HR function as it seeks to drive a people-centric culture. In this session, participants will learn about “Conscious Capitalism” and why it matters, why “higher purpose” is real and not just marketing fluff, how Conscious Capitalism supports the role of HR, metrics that demonstrate the ROI of conscious business practices, examples from companies at the forefront of the movement, and how Conscious Capitalism supports what younger generations want in a company.

Spotlight Sessions will be hosted on the main stage during concurrent sessions. Spotlight sessions will be in a large setting and will be streamed. Recordings will be available after the conference.
